About Lindsay

"Do you not know I am a woman?

When I think I must speak."

-Rosalind in Shakespeare's

As You Like It

Currently living in Los Angeles, Lindsay hails from Tuscaloosa, AL and has worked professionally as an actor, director, producer, and writer of theater in New York, New Jersey, Chicago, and LA. She founded her own theatre company (Transcendent) in 2013 and directed its inaugural show, an Equity Showcase production: a movement ensemble retelling of Shakespeare’s TITUS ANDRONICUS that she adapted herself. The production centered around Lavinia’s journey and her sexual assault experience.

In 2020, Lindsay dissolved Transcendent and co-founded moxie productions with her creative partner, Rachel Page, with whom she is currently working on writing a new musical called SOMEONE YOU KNOW. Lindsay’s directing works have premiered at both the Chicago Fringe Festival and the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

As a performer, she’s worked with The Shakespeare Theatre of NJ, Adirondack Shakespeare Co., Waltzing Mechanics, Accidental Shakespeare Co. and more. Lindsay graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a B.A. in Theatre Performance. She was an acting apprentice with The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey in 2009 and studied at Scott Freeman Studio in TriBeCa and The Pearl Theatre Conservatory during her time in New York.
